It has nothing to do with being hand-fed. 6 of our birds were not hand-fed. It’s all about building a relationship with your birds and truly being a flock and having flock mentality.

All of your birds …
All of your birds are so tame and affectionate, yet I see many people who comment saying things like, “Your lucky your birds come to you”. And I wonder how you guys get your birds so tame and many other people are still struggling. Is it because they were handfed do you think? If not, why do you think that your birds are so tame and others aren’t? Thank-you!

In my first comment, I suggested you remove the carpet, as it is too hard to clean.
You replied that ‘Daddy owns a professional carpet cleaning business’.
So I replied ‘Good think (meant to type ‘thing’) Daddy has that business’. And it is! Professional cleaning is the only way to keep that carpet poop free.
Off topic, after typing ‘carpet’ so many times recently, carpet sounds like a strange name for a floor covering. Sounds more garage to me… Sorry, I’m off on one of my tangents.

Thank you and yes, we were birdie sitting, but we always consider them our babies. We can not remove the carpet since we live in an apartment, and carpet not hard to clean when my Daddy owns a professional carpet cleaning business.
