Is it okay if I leave a pigeon with a big bird cage filled with parakeets(about 16 parakeets)?

I found a pigeon and its trained and i have a medium sized aviary with like about 16 parakeets, is it okay if i put the pigeon in there??? ANSWER QUICKLY PLEASE!!!!!

No because of dieases etc all new birds shouold be quarentined for 30 days, also they are of different species so require different needs, budgies can be housed after quarentine with other parrots such as cockatiels, lovebirds etc but make sure all the species of parrots get along before introduceing newcomers to an established flock.

Is this cage suitable for a small conure?

The cage dimensions are 61.5(L)cm x 56.5(W)cm x 100 (H)cm and the bar spacing is 1.5cm,stand height is 33cm

you can view the cage at this link

Yes, that should work nicely.

Is moving birds from one cage to a aviary stress for them?

Hi, I have nine budgies, one cockatiel, and one house finch in my current cage: http://i44.tinypic. com/1zn5pop.jpg http://i39.tinypic. com/27xnrrd.jpg (different birds, but same cage) and my dad is building a aviary for me! Its going to be like 4x bigger than the one I already have: http://i40.tinypic. com/f9hvs1.jpg I’m really excited, hes probably going to finish it next week. A few days before its done, I’m going to buy different sized branches, few food/water bowls, chew toys, and other treats for my babies. But I’m wondering if thats to much for them… overwhelming for them? So should I put them in the cage for a few hours and put them back in the one in my room? When could I leave them in for the whole day? Do I let them stay in at night in March were its not so cold in the night? Since its going to be big, do you think I could leave my African Grey Parrot in there with them? Hes a really nice bird: http://i40.tinypic. com/15rfo76.jpg

(Just to let you know, they get along pretty much, sometimes my budgies will woo to my finch o_O And the Cockatiel doesn’t bother or peck at my budgies or the finch.) http://i44.tinypic. com/2dca1kk.jpg http://i42.tinypic. com/xfunmg.jpg

(Please take the space out from the links, I don’t think yahoo lets me post links anymore =_=)

It’s never adviseable to leave a larger parrot in with small ones. The small ones will be the aggressors and the Grey will hurt or kill them defending himself.
